It is often being complained of seeing flashes across your field of vision and you have noticed that you have a headache. Or may be on the other hand you’ve been pushed on the bed with head pressure

Almost 38 million Americans are facing this issue. They complain of pulsing and throbbing sensation on one side of their head which can cause sickness, nausea, high sensitivity to light and sound and also vomiting. This is more intense than other headaches. All of the migraines are different from one another. It relays on person to person.

It could be with or Without Aura?

There are two types of migraine which are as follow

Common migraines:

Migraines without aura are known as common migraines. They don’t have the symptoms of aura and can be treated easily.  Before using any remedies for common migraines (without aura) you need to know about the symptoms.

Classical migraine:

Such migraines with aura were once called classical migraine the symptoms of aura include visual; disabilities like  seeing lines, flashes  and shapes there could be a sudden blackout of vision for almost 10 to 30 minutes you can also feel shivering sensation in your legs and arms this can also affect the five senses (taste,touch,smell,etc) . About  1 out of 4 people are suffering from such migraine  it begins before the headache and last up to an hour

Sub types of migraines

Brainstem aura

Such migraines include the symptoms:

  • visual, sensory or speech
  • slurred speech, vertigo, ringing sounds  in the ears,
  • Laziness
  • Severe sensitivity towards sounds.

Chronic:

This type of headache could last for 10-15 days in a month and could last up to three months.  It includes the symptoms of common migraines for atleast 8 days a month.

Hemiplegic

We can explain hemiplegic as “paralysis on one side of the body.”  It can cause a temporary weakness on one side of the body. There are further two types of hemiplegic migraine:

  • Familial which affects the family members Laziness
  • Sporadic form is when no family member are affected.
